The International Workshop on Computer Applications in Architecture and Building Engineering (CAABE 2025)

Call for papers
With the application of computer science, architecture and building engineering have been developed rapidly. In the whole life cycle of the built environment, from the design phase through to construction, operation, maintenance and its deterioration, many technologies have been applied, such as Internet of Things, cloud computing, computer aided design and simulation, artificial intelligence, and so on. All these technologies can efficiently support optimal design, data-driven construction, structural analysis and health monitoring, facilities management, indoor environmental quality, and living safety. The goal of this workshop/section is to explore advanced computer science applications in the building subject and investigate the methodology of discipline integration. The workshop/section invites submissions on the computer science related application in architecture and building engineering, including but not limited to:
Artificial intelligence as applied to buildings or building systems
Indoor/outdoor building environmental assessment and simulation
Green buildings and sustainable systems based on computer science
Advances in modeling and simulation tools
Data-driven construction and maintenance
Data mining in the building subject
Machine learning application of energy management
Predictive maintenance and assessment of structure health
Renewable energy applications
New techniques for Urban Planning
Digital twins application in building project
Modeling in health, productivity, and well-being related to the built environment
Advanced approach to evaluate architectural design
Built environment and public health
Interstellar Energy
Space living environment

Call for Workshops

In conjunction with CSA 2025, we will organize some workshops.
The workshop proposals should be submitted to Prof. Michael Hwa Young Jeong (hyjeong@khu.ac.kr)

Several workshops will be held in conjunction with CSA 2025 with the aim to explore special topics and provide international forums for scientists, engineers, and computer users to exchange and share their experiences, new ideas, and research results on hot topics on Future Information Technology. Workshops for presenting papers from industrial companies and papers on implementations of systems and services are very welcome.

One workshop MUST have at least 7 registered papers.
Otherwise, the papers will be moved to the another workshop.

In general, a workshop takes one day, although multiple-days and half-day workshops are welcome.

The workshop proposal should include following information:
1. Title of the workshop: International Workshop on ...
2. Workshop Organizers(s): name, affiliation, address, phone and fax numbers, e-mail.
3. Brief description of the workshop (several hundred words)
4. Expected number of papers to be submitted
5. Call for paper of the workshop (draft version - 1 page CFP MS Word version)
6. Tentative list of program committee members (Name, affiliation, country, email address)
7. Your workshop web address (Tentative)
